No Signal – Vanished

This track really makes me feel lost. If I heard this standing inmidst a crowd of a thousand people, I’d still feel lost.

The newest release of No Signal blew me away with its emotional intensity. With this ultra-believable vocals and a minimal synth backing, the atmosphere of the song feels really empty. It’s like listening to that little voice inside of you no one ever hears but you. While the environment of the song changes, the base concept stays the same, transmitting in an oustanding calm and slow way. Feeling lost and hurt has never felt better.

Riley Schmelzer, the mastermind behind No Signal managed to trigger core emotions with ‘Vanished’ with just the usage of minimal yet very effective elements. The almost desperate undertone is a thing of beauty, making your heart heavy, while the song progresses as if it was walking towards the light. And here’s the kicker: Schmelzer is 17 years old. Plus he did everything in this track on his own.
